When you visit
This website has no contact form, account, checkout, mailing-list signup or analytics. The site itself does not set cookies or use advertising trackers. Fonts and artwork are served with the website.
Cookies and browser storage
MadeLark does not use analytics, advertising or optional cookies. When you select “Got it” in our cookie notice, we use local storage to remember that you have seen it for up to 180 days. This record, called madelark-cookie-choice, contains an acknowledgement, its expiry time and the notice version. It stays in your browser and is not sent to MadeLark.
The colour comparison has ended and we no longer save a palette preference. Any old palette preference saved by this website is removed when you visit with JavaScript enabled. Old comparison links now display the permanent Pastel Lavender brand.
You can reopen the notice through “Cookies” in the footer and remove its acknowledgement using your browser’s site-data controls. If browser storage is blocked, the website still works, but the notice may appear again on another page or visit. “Got it” only dismisses the notice; it does not give permission for tracking.
When the site is hosted, the hosting provider may process technical information such as your IP address, requested pages and browser details to deliver and protect the site. The provider’s actual logging and retention arrangements will be confirmed before public launch.
If you email us
Your email address, name if you provide it, and message are used to respond to your enquiry. Please share only information relevant to your question. Sending an email does not sign you up for marketing.
Our purpose is to answer enquiries and discuss requested products or services. General correspondence is handled for our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us; where you ask about a possible purchase, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before a contract.
Storage and service providers
Correspondence is handled through our business email service. Access is limited to people who need it to respond. We do not sell enquiry information.
We keep correspondence only as long as needed to answer and resolve the enquiry, then delete it unless there is a continuing reason to retain it, such as a dispute or a legal obligation. Our final retention schedule and service-provider arrangements, including any international transfers, will be confirmed before launch.
Your choices and rights
You can ask about your information, request access or correction, and ask for deletion or restriction where applicable. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests. Some rights depend on why the information is held.
Email us to raise a concern. You can also make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

We will update this notice before adding services that change how information is collected or used. The business contact details and the arrangements described above will be finalised before the website opens to the public.
